Solar do Rio undertakes to guarantee the accessibility of its website, under the terms of Decree-Law no. 83/2018, of 19 October, and Decree-Law no. 82/2023, of 6 October, which transpose Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

This commitment aims to ensure that all people, regardless of their abilities, can access the contents and functionalities of this website autonomously, effectively and fairly.

Solar do Rio's website is being developed in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549, adopting inclusive design practices, keyboard-accessible navigation, the use of alternative text in images, adequate contrast and clear semantic structure.

Compliance status

The website is currently partially compliant with the aforementioned accessibility requirements. Correction and continuous improvement actions are underway to ensure full compliance.

Content not accessible

  • Some content or functionalities may have accessibility limitations, namely:
  • Old PDF documents that are not yet optimised for assisted reading;
  • Images without alternative descriptive text;
  • Interface elements with incomplete labelling or no visible focus;
  • Occasional problems with colour contrast in specific sections.
  • Solar do Rio is committed to identifying and progressively resolving these non-conformities.

Accessibility assessment

This declaration is based on a manual self-assessment and analysis of compliance with the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. The last review was carried out in July 2025.
